1870 war museum

1870: We all know about this year because of the Franco-Prussian war, which lead to the annexation of Alsace-Lorraine by the German Empire. On the 6th of August 1870, the battle was raging nearby the villages of Elsasshausen, Woerth and Froeschwiller. This museum, located in Woerth, recalls what happened over 130 years ago, just as the numerous war memorials which are to be found along the roads leading to this village.
