Oil museum

The oil museum of Merkwiller-Pechelbronn, which is situated a few minutes away from Lembach by car, has opened on 9th May 1967, and re-tells 500 years of the history of oil in the Pechelbronn region, the geology of the Rhine basin, its various uses as well as the refining of hydrocarbons. The museum is opened from April to October, Thursdays, and Sundays and during public holidays from 2pm30 to 6pm.
